Tax Collection takes place at the Westmoreland Reading Center. An insert was included with your tax bill, that states the times & dates of collection. There is no collection at the town after April 1.
This bell was used as the town's first fire alarm.

Welcome to the Town of Westmoreland! We are a rural Town just south of the City of Rome.A town like ours, is made up of many everyday people with big hearts and helping hands. Towns like ours rely on people like this to help our community grow.
Our residents take a genuine interest in the area's youth and donate many hours of their time on programs that involve young people. Others work hard in our volunteer fire departments and the ambulance corps. We have had many successful blood drives at the Town Hall in the past year. And many of our residents volunteer their time in our churches, scouts, senior citizens, Grange and other organizations within our Town.
